Ganesh Dham - An idol of sgri Ganesh made of white possesses a unique belief Indore city is a central point of such idols. In Ganesh Dham a holy place in honor of shri Ganesh is situated in silavat pura (near collector's office). there is an icon of shri Ganesh which is tow and half feet height having twenty inches long trunk made of the root of caitropis, gigantica. this root bear's natural image of shri Ganesh wherein below the trunk the twoteeth,jaw,four hand and feet are self made in this Ganesh Ji appears to be seated in padmasan-posture.
This unique natural gift was received by the famous Tantrik Tejkaran Rathore who for the more then 40 years observing silence(mouna-vrat) and taking food only one time is in the service of shri Ganesh ji.
Unveiling the secret how he achieved this naturally self made Ganesh ji icon shri Rathore narrates in his own ward that for the worship of the idils of goddess Bijasan Devi and Narmadeshwar shri Mahadev placed in his house he used ot go to collect the flowers of caitropits, gigantica near the Harsiddhi temple but once this plant of flowers was cut apart for fencing of fool - Mandi. One day Tejkaran Rathore while meditating visualized the goddess who unveiling the mystery by informing him that the very plant from where he had been bringing flowers in the very root of that piant on idol of self made Ganesh ji formed.

Unfortunately at that time curfew was imposed in the city . but by velour of diving power he did not demoralize himself and some how dug out the root.
To this surprise he visualized a direct perception of Shri Ganesh in the very root of the plant. Having put the idol on his head with all reverence he returned to his home and on the twelfth day of Bhadwa month at the Time of Ravi pushya Nakshtra i.e. on 4-9-1984 he established thatidol of Shri Ganesh in his house and later on named his house as Ganesh Dham meaning the abode of shri Ganesh. Now along with the Ganesh-idol the two wifes of shri Ganesh Riddhi-Siddhi and Labh-Shubh representing his two sons were also established there with a marble-icon.
